York South-Weston covers the heart of the old City of York. The boundaries of our electoral riding are south of the 401, north of St Clair Ave, between the Humber River, and the rail line just to the east of Keele Street. The following neighbourhoods are included: Pelmo Park, Weston, Rustic, Maple Leaf, Amesbury, Keelesdale, Silverthorne, Clearview Heights, Upper Junction, Stockyards, Harwood, Rockcliffe Smythe, Roselands, and Mount Dennis.

The federal York South-Weston NDP is an active political riding association of Canada's NDP, led by Jagmeet Singh.

Currently a 24-member executive comprised of members of the community, with multiple active sub-committees, the York South-Weston NDP has an active presence in our community and on the issues that matter.

Our federal candidate in the 2019 election was Yafet Tewelde. Previously, the seat was held by Mike Sullivan.
